Jon Lamb

For Employers

I'm not a specialist. I'm the person you bring in when you need something to actually work — not just get done.

I've built financial systems at federal scale, COVID relief software used by hundreds of thousands, and a dumpling brand from nothing. The throughline isn't the domain. It's the fact that I own the outcome, find the problem, and build the thing.

The Arc

Age 7Origin

The Workshop

Kid Builder

Built a windmill-powered Ferris wheel out of K'Nex.

Not because anyone asked. Because the pieces were there and I wanted to see if it would work. It did.

Built a project that won an award.

First external validation that the stuff in my head could become a real thing.

Accenture Federal

Analyst → Consultant

Built financial forecasting and reporting systems for federal clients with $1B+ budget visibility.

Built COVID assistance apps used by hundreds of thousands of Michigan residents to access unemployment, rental assistance, and other emergency programs.

The most important software I've built. People used these tools to survive. The stakes were real and the timelines were brutal and we shipped.

Good Fold

Founder

Built a dumpling brand from scratch — brand identity, production operations, R&D process, e-commerce, and an internal ops management tool.

First time building something fully mine. The thing that made everything click.

Day One Implementations

Founder

Building AI-powered revenue recovery software for appointment-based franchise systems.

Where it's all going. The synthesis of civic tech scale, operator instincts, and builder urgency.

The Stack

Systems thinker. I see how pieces connect before they're connected. I'll spot the operational hole in your product before your operations team does.

Operational builder. Not just strategy. I build the thing. The process, the software, the workflow that makes the thing repeatable.

Enough product sense to know what should exist. Enough technical range to build it or direct the people who do.

Communication that doesn't waste anyone's time. I don't write long updates. I write useful ones.

None of these are world-class individually. Together they're hard to replicate.

Working With Me

I communicate directly. I don't wait to be told what to do and I don't disappear when things get hard.

I give feedback like I want to receive it — specific, timely, and focused on the work not the person.

I make decisions fast when I have enough context and flag clearly when I don't.
