I’m a software practice leader with a dumpling side hustle. At our farmers-market stand, different fillings and customers’ orders shared one pan, and every dumpling looked the same. When I took over the cooking, I discovered how hard it was to keep track. So I added a visual map of the pan to our order-tracking software. My day job involves government software, but the instinct is the same: get close enough to the work to understand what needs fixing. As a Director and equity partner at Kinetech, I co-lead our public-sector and nonprofit practice. In Michigan, I designed the solution framework behind our initial engagement and helped grow the relationship across five engagements, personally scoping and pricing the last three.

Six years in finance at Accenture taught me how to make the numbers work. Leading software delivery taught me how to bring it all together for the product to work, too: understanding the client, choosing where to spend the budget, and getting a team through the difficult parts. My favorite moment is seeing that effort come to fruition and watching a client succeed with it. The software I’ve helped deliver has reached hundreds of thousands of people. My mission is to help millions.
